Oxford Colleges Hospitality Scheme
The programme offers
one-month visits in one of the Oxford
Colleges. Scholars will normally be
postdoctoral or of equivalent status, over
the age of 26, and will be university
teachers or members of research institutes.

OSI FCO Chevening
Scholarships for the University of Oxford
and the University of York
Within the Scholarship Scheme the following
options are available:
Nine-month Research Scholarships at the
University of Oxford (October 2003 - June
2004 inclusive) for postgraduate research
contributing towards a doctoral degree in
the candidate's home institution. These
awards may be held for study in the
Humanities, Social Sciences, Environmental
Sciences or public health/policy related
areas of Medical Sciences. The scholarships
do not allow scholars to register for a
degree at the University.
One-year Scholarships to read for a Master's
degree or Diploma at the University of
Oxford.
Three-month Research Scholarships in Applied
Social Studies at the University of Oxford
for officials, experts or consultants
working for governmental or public bodies
who wish to do research on a topic of direct
relevance to the development or functioning
of that body.
Twelve-month scholarships to read for an MA
in Political Philosophy (The Idea of
Toleration) at the University of York
(October 2003 - September 2004 inclusive).

OSI FCO Chevening
Cambridge Scholarships In The Social
Sciences And Humanities.A one-year taught
postgraduate course of study in the Social
Sciences and the Humanities at the
University of Cambridge.

Staffordshire University
MPhil/PhD in Economics:
Distance Learning Mode
Four-year MPhil/Phd
scholarship in the field of economics at the
Staffordshire University. Applicants should
be teachers or researchers associated with
an academic institution or a research
organization.
Each year, the scholars
will spend 3-4 months at the Staffordshire
University and the remainder at their home
institutions.

Soros Supplementary
Grants Program
Awards are available to
undergraduates and post-graduates enrolled
in a degree program in social sciences,
humanities, or fine and performing arts at
recognized institutions outside of their
home countries but within Central and
Eastern Europe, the former Soviet Union, and
Mongolia.
A special award is available for Roma
students, refugees, forced migrants and
asylum-seekers enrolled in any field degree
program.

Global Supplementary Grants
Program
Supplementary grants to
students from Eastern and Central Europe who
have been accepted into a full-time doctoral
(Ph.D.) program at an accredited university
in Western Europe, Asia, Australia and North
America.
